Refresh your application in Citrix Workspace app or Citrix Receiver for Windows - Symptoms or Error
As it stands now every login to workspace will result in users having to click the 'detect workspace' button and perform this step. Hi Robert -only upgrade to receiver 4. Both all Receivers and all Workspace Apps work identically and use the same mechanisms to perform client detection.
The mechanism to detect the presence of the client by Workspace for web Cloud or Receiver for Web On Prem is also nearly identical from a server side perspective. Only these 2 are viable options. This is strictly my opinion but I would take option 3. I take it the thin clients will be using Chrome, FireFox or Edge? IE11 does not use the protocol handler.
In the past, the Storefront enumeration process was completly automatic. This is really not desirable for the end users. All our computers 16 In the case the computer is not well configured, we do not want users to be able to access our Citrix environment. Skip this detection screen, assuming the client is installed locally. Or, at least, launch the detection process automatically without any user action. If we follow the workaround protocolHandler to false , then the SSO no longer works and the user has to sign explicitely.
So it can't be used. Another question : how can we force the SSO authentication, with no user choice which would prevent the second screen? Did anyone solve this? I need to disable this detect step as well in some way for Thinclients.

Regarding your post today and setting the launch method in Cloud The equivalent options to govern the launch methods available to the end user have been available in cloud.
Posted October 8, At the moment the options forward would be -manually remote control and upgrade every thin client and perform this detection step before I flip the device into stateless mode.
